Star Yardy opens new sports centre

Sussex cricket star Michael Yardy officially opened the impressive new Claremont Sports Centre in Bodiam on Thursday.

The 32-year-old Yardy grew up playing cricket for Battle and Hastings Priory before going on to captain his county and star for his country. The former William Parker Sports College pupil was an ever-present in the England team which won the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 in the West Indies.
