Priory to host county finals

Hastings Priory will host the NatWest U19 Club T20 Sussex Cricket Finals’ Day tomorrow (Sunday).

A three-way round-robin event involving Hastings Priory Young Guns, Findon Horses and Chippingdale Megalodons will take place at Horntye Park.

Priory will kick-off proceedings against Findon at 10am and Findon will then face Chippingdale at around 1.30pm before Priory wrap things up against Chippingdale from 4.30pm.

ECB and Sussex County cricket officials will be in attendance at an event which aims to bring the county T20 experience to club cricket.

The ECB will be providing the official equipment used in the professional T20 arena such as boundary markers, perimeter boards, stumps etc.

They are also sending down the company which does the filming at the NatWest T20 Blast games across the country. There will be a cash bar and barbecue in operation throughout the day, as well as music, a PA system and dugouts for the teams etc.
