EP skipper Andy Reeves admitted his side put on nowhere near enough, before their hosts eased home in just 15.3 overs.

He said: “They set very clever fields and we were a bit slow and we made nowhere near enough.

“A couple could have kicked on but only Colin really stuck at it. Tim did okay early on, but still did not really press on at all.

“Then we came out to field and Paul Osborne went berserk. It was great to watch apart from for those in the neighbouring houses.

“There were a few stoppages when we had to get the ball out of vegetable patches and allotments.

“It was a great innings and I shook his hand as soon as he got his hundred.

“We did not bowl very good lines, but he did not give many chances until late on.”
