Sussex Premier League outfit Bexhill will travel to mid-table Division Three side Ansty on Sunday July 27 (1pm start) as they attempt to reach the final for the second time in three years.

Although they play their cricket two divisions above their opponents, Bexhill will be wary of the threat posed by an Ansty side which upset reigning Premier League champions Preston Nomads in the quarter-finals yesterday (Sunday).

Bexhill pulled off an impressive last eight victory of their own, however, with an eight-wicket thrashing of Eastbourne after bowling their local rivals out for 60.

Defending champions Bexhill will travel to Worthing in the semi-finals of the Gray-Nicolls Sussex 2nd XI T20 Cup on the same day. Bexhill received a walkover into the last four after scheduled opponents Eastbourne conceded yesterday’s quarter-final.
