Aaron's injury sickener

County League TwoPeacehaven 0 St Francis Rangers 4 AARON Blackwell had his cheekbone shattered on a miserable Saturday for Peacehaven.

Five minutes after Blackwell came on as substitute he collided with Rangers's goalkeeper Simon Lehkyj and suffered his sickening injury.

Manager Darren Guirey had already used all three substitutes and Peacehaven had to play on with ten men.

Guirey said: 'It was a bad day at the office all round. It just all went wrong.'

Rangers hit the ground running and never looked back as on seven minutes Sam Jeremiah fired into the corner.

Peacehaven then enjoyed a spell of possession but failed to trouble Lehkyj until Ryan Smith fired just past a post. After 36 minutes a fast counter-attack by Peacehaven brought a fine save by Lehkyj.

Rangers continued to press and as half-time approached Jeremiah shot in from 12 yards.

Rangers extended their lead when Enticknapp rounded Leppard to score on 70 minutes and the fourth came on 78 minutes after two shots had been blocked before Gault slotted home.
