Trust me, Patricia – I’m a househusband

IN follow-up to Patricia Stephenson’s letter (Observer, June 8) regarding the borough council planning committee she states, ‘ remains of great concern that a committee which is empowered to make such far-reaching decisions regarding family housing in this town has only one solitary female councillor at hand to discuss the housing needs of families’. She need not worry. As a proud house husband with two young children, I am acutely aware of the housing needs of families. We all have different perspectives and living arrangements, and we naturally bring that experience to the committee.
