Tory party turned Post Office into commercial business

AMBER Rudd must be the only person in Hastings who thinks that transferring the Post Office to WH Smith is a good idea.

It was her Conservative party which turned the Post Office from a highly-regarded public service into a commercial business, whose managers have closed down many smaller post offices and are keen to hive off responsibility for the larger ones onto firms such as WH Smith, all in the interests of ‘profitability’.

We have not forgotten the enormous increase in stamp prices and the recent sell-off of the Royal Mail.

Voters of Hastings will have an opportunity to pass judgement on these so-called ‘services’ in the general election next year.
