THE Observer always seems full of depressing stories, however there are acts of kindness and generousity that go unreported.
My wallet fell out of my bag by Hastings pier with a fair amount of money inside it.
I cursed my stupidity and cancelled my credit cards only to get a phone call from my bank to say that someone had posted my wallet, money untouched, through their letterbox.
Such a noble spirited act by an anonymous good Samaritan deserves to be on the front page of your newspaper.
My heartfelt thanks go out to the unknown person who acted so charitably towards me.
