Congratulations to all who ran in the sea boot race, shouted in the Old Town Criers competition, made a spectacle of themselves in the Whelk eating competition and exhausted themselves in the bike ride.
Again, congratulations to all you bargain hunters at our charity auction finding bargains collected by my wife, my brother and Rose who took responsibility of George Street businesses and all other Old Town businesses that donated.
After two choruses of We All Live in a Yellow Submarine, sung in the rain by over 150 bidders, we ended up raising over £2,700 for our local charities.
So well done, these events could not happen without you.
For the first time ever, 127 people sat down to a Bangers and Mash Blowout.
What an experience to be part of a street party with a twist, which could only happen in Hastings Old Town.
Families, friends and Old Towners making up the community spirit that makes it a special place to be.
