The Sara Lee Trust offers thanks as we embark on our 20th year.
The Sara Lee Trust would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us over the past year and helped us to provide essential care and support to over 600 local residents living with a life threatening illness.
It has been a challenging year for the trust since the tragic fire at St Michael’s Hospice, where we were based, earlier this year.
However, both the hospice and trust teams have worked closely together to ensure that patient care is prioritised and our services maintained.
As we move into our 20th year of providing our specialist range of services including psychological support and end of life counselling, complementary therapies and therapeutic group activities, to patients of St Michael’s Hospice, the Rye, Winchelsea & District Memorial Hospital and the wider Hastings and Rother Community, we would like to thank all those whose support has helped us to provide these services over such a long period of time.
The trust depends entirely on donations and fundraising activities, and support from the local community is incredibly important.
We would like to express our sincere and grateful thanks to all our volunteers and supporters who help us support local people living with cancer and other life threatening illnesses.
Our thanks and best wishes to all for the festive period.
