Take the time to report issues

I noticed a path between Park View and St Helens Road had accumulated litter and slippery leaves and contacted the council.

Within 24 hours the path had been cleared.

So if you see something amiss in your neighbourhood that the borough council is responsible for – phone them or go online.

If it’s left to someone else to alert them they might never be aware of the problem and it won’t be fixed.

And well done HBC for a rapid response!
