THERE are many builders among the prisoner population, so why don’t we use their skills and labour to rebuild Hastings Pier?
They could earn some remission of their sentence and keep up their skills. Prisoners on the pier would be guarded both by the sea and prison wardens.
Materials could be bought using grant funding, and further funding could be sought from millionaires in London and the south east.
And a Happy Christmas could be had by all.
