Well done Dan Radcliffe in resurrecting the Park’s Miniature Railway!
Being interested in steam engines, small or large, and my husband having had a railway modelling business in Maidstone for years, it was great to go along on the Sunday mornings it was open, talk to the enthusiasts and ride on it.
However, many people we met in the lower park did not know of it, as publicity or signage seemed non-existent.
I do hope this can be addressed by Mr Radcliffe and/or the council so that directions to the railway are prominent and that it will be well used, especially as it will be open many more hours than hitherto and it needs customers to be an economical success.
