Link Road is icon of planning ineptitude

SO, a local initiative to promote cheaper and greener local travel in June in order to reduce congestion - not too much wrong with that till you see that this move is backed by East Sussex County Council, the very same ESCC that has helped add to local congestion by deciding there is no call for a basic railway station at Glyne Gap to serve Ravenside.

I have never seen a bus make it into the place, trains fly by and at the same time, £113 million of your money and mine is blown on 3.5 miles of Link Road just round the corner.

Hmmm - suitable names for this phenominally expensive icon of planning ineptness - Clown Way, Avenue of Pointed Hats perhaps?
