ANOTHER week has gone by, with commuters enduring delays and last minute cancellations.
Passengers never know what time they might arrive at work or when they might get home of an evening. A miserable experience is what we now expect; Southeastern sadly, living up to our expectations in this regard.
Moreover, Southeastern does not know when the line in question will reopen, or know when it will know.
Its customer services seem unable to provide any useful information, and tend to repeat well-used, bland phrases used to deflect criticism or questions.
Commuters are left to vent their anger and frustration at station staff who aren’t responsible for the chaos or even any more informed than the travelling public.
Those responsible should be held to account, namely the directors of Southeastern. Surely one of the worst-run rail companies in the UK.
