Have you forgotten that you were a child once?

I’M writing in reference to Kris Morris’ recent letter in the Observer.

Have you forgotten you were a child once? As a mother of a five-year-old and an 18-month-old I enjoy taking my children out of the house away from the TV and computers and letting them get fresh air, playing on their bikes along the seafront.

I understand that most things cost a lot of money to do so free fun surely isn’t too much to ask.

Surely children playing on their bikes and other toys or going to a cafe with their parents is better than children doing crime and I’m sure us parents and our children don’t mean to get in your way.
