I WAS one of the residents at Marlborough House when the fire broke out on Sunday, July 28.
May I, through the Observer, take this opportunity to thank firstly, the emergency services who were involved in our safe evacuation.
Secondly, I would like to thank the people at Christchurch who opened up their hall for us and gave us food, drink and comfort.
Next, I would like to thank the people of St Leonards who donated clothes and other necessary items.
Last, but not least, I would also like to express thanks to InTouch and Family Mosaic, Allied Healthcase which provides our care.
These organisaitions are continuing to support us through this ordeal until we can return to Marlborough House and will continue to do so afterwards.
