I WOULD like to thank the three young men in their 20s who recently came to my rescue when I suffered a burst tyre at the bottom of Pevensey Road.
My car ended on the far side of London Road facing the other way.
They heard the tyre pop as they were sat on the pavement.
They changed it for me. They supported me and they insisted on changing the spare wheel.
They wouldn’t even take any money off me.
Gallantry is not dead in St Leonards.
