ON Monday evening I had a nasty fall beside my house. I pressed my Lifeline button, but as I lay on the ground, a young couple were passing by.
They heard my cries for help, and immediately came and picked me up and took me inside.
My neighbours appeared and patched me up, then about an hour later this couple came back to “Check you are okay”.
I was so shaken up I forgot to ask their names.
Society is very quick to condemn youngsters these days, but they are not all hooligans. Thank you both.
Thanks also to my neigbours, Gloria and Roy, and the Lifeline team. I am battered, but recovering.
