Come and watch Bexhill instead...

I WRITE as chairman of Bexhill United Football Club, who play in the Sussex County League Division Two down at the Polegrove in Bexhill.

We have three male adult teams who play in County Two, the reserves play in the reserve section and the thirds in the East Sussex League along with two ladies teams and twelve junior teams.

I am disgusted John Morgan has to put up with Mr Walters’ price hikes which as we all know, in the current economic climate seems very unreasonable.

At Bexhill, as John is a Bexhill resident, he can come and watch a good standard of football under cover in a much better stand which is closer to the pitch, he can come into the club house, have jolly good food and drink, and be very much looked after and welcomed by all of my committee and myself every week.

For this all we charge is £2 for an OAP, that price has been held for several years and doesn’t go up as often as Mr Walters puts his prices up and £4 for much younger adults, that is to watch our front side, to watch the rest of the teams within the club, it is free, reserves, ladies and the youth.

Currently the club is pushing for promotion on all fronts, and doing very well.

To come and watch Bexhill play is much better than Hastings who usually don’t play very well and lose.

Mr Morgan can contact me at any time along with anybody else. My telephone numbers are 01424 220413 or mobile 07885 703636. We will be very pleased to welcome him and others any time they would like to come and watch us.
