MORE than 500 young dancers showcased their talent at the annual Time to Dance festival this week.
The performers, aged from five to 25, came from a range of schools and community groups across Hastings and Rother.
The two-day festival, which was held at the Phoenix Arts Centre in Parkstone Road, finished on Thursday evening.
Dancers showed off performances, all with the Olympic motto Higher, Faster, Stronger as the theme for this year’s event.
The annual festival has been taking place for 10 years and has steadily grown from just a handful of schools to a regular event numbering more than 500 dancers, and includes satellite events in Battle and Rye.
Marion Dawson, organiser, said: “It went really well this year and we had more than 500 dancers from 29 schools. It’s been well-attended.”
