Wreck of warship will be brought to life

There will be a chance for people to view the 17th Century warship The Anne as they have never seen her before when a virtual reality model is unveiled for the first time at The New Beach Club, Pett Level on Friday December 12 at 3pm.

HMS Anne was a 70-gun third rate ship of the line of the English Royal Navy, built by Phineas Pett II at Chatham Dockyard and launched in 1678.[1]
She took part in the Battle of Beachy Head in 1690, but was burnt after the battle.[1] The remains, on the low water mark of the beach near Pett Level,East Sussex, were designated under the British Protection of Wrecks Acton 20 June 1974.
