Woman treated after cooker fire
A PENSIONER was treated for smoke inhalation following a cooker fire at a house in Whatlington Road, Battle.
Fire crews were called to the address at 10.45am on Saturday, but the fire was out when they arrived.
The crew used fans to ventilate the property while the woman, in her 80s, was given oxygen by paramedics on the scene.
