A WOMAN was arrested for failing to stop and dangerous driving following a three car collision on a busy main road.
The collision happened last Thursday (Dec 6) on St Helen’s Road near the junction with King Edward Avenue in Hastings.
Three cars, a blue Seat, a blue Hyundai and a red Mazda collided while queuing in traffic approaching the roundabout at about 4.08pm.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 46-year-old woman from St Leonards, was taken to Conquest Hospital with minor injuries.
Her passengers, a 15-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl, were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A 24-year-old woman from Rye was later arrested for failing to stop and dangerous driving. She has been bailed until January 29.
Police constable Barry Freeman, from the Sussex Road Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing to anyone who saw what happened as it was a busy time of day with lots of people around.
