PARISH CHURCH NEWS: Whatlington’s parish church service on Sunday 28th will be at 6pm, a service of Hymns & Meditation based around well known and loved hymns and led by our own Vicar, Kevin Mepham. The service will be followed with some light refreshments
PARISH COUNCIL NEWS: At the recent parish council meeting the report from our local pcso identified recent thefts of tools from vans and also a scam involving using direct debit information to remove funds from bank accounts – remember you should not disclose any personal information to any callers – even if they sound plausible. Please report any suspicious incidents to the police as these can help them to gain information to identify patterns of offending and offenders. Hide AdIt was also agreed that the road naming for the A21 stretch would be re circulated to residents as there was no identifiable road name which most residents preferred – so if you live along this road please make sure you return the voting slip when you receive it. Hastings Road and Maddomswood Road were agreed as the other names as voted for by residents.
