The annual Westfield Christmas lights switch-on took place yesterday evening (Thursday, December 1).
Scores of people gathered to see the launch of the popular event in the village.
As in previous years, the event is raising funds for St Michael’s Hospice, based in St Leonards.
To date, the Westfield lights have raised almost £54,000 for the charity, which looks after patients across 1066 Country with life-limiting illnesses.
Volunteer collectors were available at last night’s launch event.
The lights will be on every night from about 6pm until December 31.
