Vintage prints will help St Michael’s Hospice

Drawing inspiration from the company’s days of excursions from the town, the initial sketches for the idea were drawn out by Stephen Dine, owner of Empress, and renowned artist Bradley Hutchings was commissioned to design two prints of the ‘golden age of coach travel’.

One picture is from the 1930s and the other from the 1950s. Empress Coaches was founded in Hastings in 1929.

Both the highly colourful A3 size designs feature bygone vehicles from Empress’ fleet with suitable backdrops of Hastings.

Even Empress’ founder Harry Philips is depicted in one of the posters riding his motorcycle into the scene.

The limited run of prints are £10 each with p&p available.

A donation of £4 per print will go directly to the hospice.
