VIDEO: East Preston blaze destroys home

FIREFIGHTERS are still investigating the cause of a severe fire which ripped through a thatched cottage last night (Sunday, January 19).

About 70 firefighters were combatting the blaze, at a property in Tamarisk Way, on the Willowhayne Estate.

Three crews are still at the scene conducting salvage work and dampening down the property.
