Vets in Felpham hold walkies event for charity

Vets in Felpham are holding walkies for a good cause.

The staff at the village's branch of Pet Doctors has arranged the fundraising exercise for those with four legs and two legs from the Whiteways Lodge car park on Bury Hill at 11am on September 27.

The three-mile walk will help Children with Leukaemia. Pet Doctors has pledged to match every pound donated by sponsored walkers up to 1,000. Each dog taking part will receive a free slip lead.

Belinda Eversfield, a practice nurse at Pet Doctors in Felpham, said: "Children with Leukaemia is a cause particularly close to our hearts and we hope lots of dog-owners will join us for a beautiful walk with our dogs on September 27.
