ENGLISH TEA PARTY: Also this Sunday, from 3 till 5pm, at Chitcombe Oast, Chitcombe Road, Broad Oak, you’re invited to the Brede and Udimore Overseas Group fundraising tea party, to support those in need overseas. Tickets cost £5. If you’re intending to come and haven’t yet bought a ticket, it would be very helpful to the organizers if you would please let one of them know by ringing one of the following 01424 882 numbers: 681 (Sue), 657 (Liz), or 222 (Judy).

MESSY CHURCH: On Tuesday (November 1) you’re reminded that 4pm is the time of the monthly session of Messy Church.

VOCALITY: After its successful participation in The Big Sing on October 8, the group will warmly welcome newcomers at its next session, on Wednesday afternoon (November 2), 2pm in the Hall.

FUNERAL SERVICES: The funerals of Jeremy Forty and June Boorman are due to take place in St Mary’s Church shortly. Jeremy’s will be next Friday November 4 at 1pm, June’s will be on Tuesday November 15 at 10.30am.

SUE LEE’S TALK ON ARCHAEOLOGY: Despite her recent sad bereavement, Sue has still very kindly expressed her wish to give her talk, in aid of the Friends of St Mary’s Church, probably at a date early in the New Year. More details to follow in due course.
