Two musical events to launch 1066 book

The second volume of Organs of 1066 Country, published for 1066 Choir and Organ by Larkpress, covers all the organs of Bexhill, Battle and Rye in full colour and an article of some of the most important instruments which have been lost within the Hastings area.

To celebrate the book launch there will be two special live music events. Rowena Kempner and Julius Weeks will play in Rye Methodist Church on Friday April 17 at 2.30pm and Stephen Page will play at in Sackville Road Methodist Church, Bexhill at 2.30pm on Saturday April 18. Mr Page has given a series of organ concerts at Sackville Road Methodist Church and his return has been welcomed by the church. The music will range from well known pieces by Bach to recent musicals and favourite marches for the Wurlitzer.
