Two caravans were left in ruins after a fire at a holiday park in St Leonards last night (Monday, November 21).
Four East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to Combe Haven Holiday Park on Harley Shute Road at around 9.55pm.
Two caravans were affected by the fire and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used 1-in-7 foam to put out the blaze before leaving a couple of hours later.
No one was hurt as it is believed the holiday homes were in storage and empty, but police have been informed.
Facebook group Combe Haven Owners wrote: “We regret to confirm that there was a fire incident on park last night, the cause of which is presently unknown.
“The fire was swiftly brought under control by security team and the fire service, and thankfully all team and guests are safe and well.
“We would like to reassure our owners of our ongoing commitment to the health and safety of team and guests, which remains our number one priority.”
