There’s already been a warm response to Hastings Rotary Clubs’s Tree Of Light outside Debenhams store in the town centre.
People have taken up the chance to sponsor a light on the tree in memory of a relative or friend who has passed away and help raise funds for local charity at the same time.
The Rotary Club has run the Tree of Light since 1997 and has raised over £50,000 for those in need living in Hastings and St Leonards.
Rotary’s president Peter Georgiadis said: “This is a wonderful idea to help people remember theier loved ones and the tree will form a fitting display.”
To take part fill in the coupon printed here and post it, or take it into the Halifax in Queens Road with a donation which will be passed to the Rotary Club.
