East Sussex travel: A21 closed after crash and animals causing delays on road

A car and a motorbike have reportedly been involved in a crash on the A21 this morning (Tuesday, March 23)

According to traffic reports, A21 is closed both ways at Kilndown Turnoff after the accident between Flimwell and Lamberhurst.

There is said to be heavy congestion in the area.

Queuing traffic has also been reported in the construction area on A262 Station Road both ways near Blue Coat Lane. Temporary traffic lights are in place around the electricity works.

Meanwhile, there are reports of cows on the road at Ditchling Bostall, near Beacon Road.

Traffic is said to be coping well but motorists are advised to approach with care.
