Cyclist suffers fractured skull in St Leonards collision

A cyclist suffered serious head injuries in a collision in St Leonards.

Police said the 36-year-old local man was cycling in Old Church Road shortly before 3pm on Thursday (May 21) when the incident occurred.

He was taken to the Conquest Hospital in Hastings and later transferred to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with a fractured skull, police added.

Police are seeking witnesses as they try to establish how the incident happened and have asked anyone with information to email [email protected] or call 101 quoting Operation Danson.
