Thanks for abseil

St Michael's Hospice would like to thank "everyone" who was involved in the abseil back in summer which raised Â£15,600.

The challenge was held in July 2008 at Ocean House in St Leonards.

St Michael's now thanks those who took part including the sponsors Adams John Kennard and Booker and Best, Mike Davies at Ocean House, volunteer helpers and the abseilers who each raised money through sponsorship.

Marcia Dart, Challenge Event Fundraiser, said: "This is a fantastic result and we are very grateful to everyone involved, including the generous sponsors. The date for the abseil in 2009 is July 19, and if anyone is interested then please phone 01424 201838 to register".

If there are any abseilers from this year who have not sent in their sponsorship, St Michael's Hospice asks that you send it in, even if it's not all collected, as soon as possible.
