Teachers’ pantomime performance is a ‘hoot’
Twelve teachers and staff members acted in literacy teacher Mrs Holland’s Christmas panto, “Elves from the Shelves”.
The pantomime told the story of a group of naughty elves who stole a fairy’s wand and caused magical mayhem and mischief.

Office manager Karen Warrington said: “It was a hoot, it was very funny and the kids loved it. In fact, I think the staff enjoyed it just as much as the children.”
Pupils enjoyed traditional pantomime shouts of ‘they’re behind you’ and ‘elves on the shelf’ every time the naughty elves appeared. She said the play was a great way to end the Christmas term on a festive note.
The staff have performed a pantomime for the last two years and plan to keep the tradition going next Christmas.
