Apart from some rain on Thursday, the rest of this week and the Bank Holiday are set to see warm, sunny days across Sussex.
The Met Office is forecasting temperatures in the high 20s degC for today (Tuesday August 23) and tomorrow.
Saturday (August 27) could also be humid and very warm.
The Met Office says that Thursday could see some showers overnight, possibly with thunder mixed in, clearing away first thing Friday.
Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday could be slightly cooler, but dry.
The biggest problem could be the night-time temperatures this week which are unlikely to drop much below 20degC until Monday.
As a result of the fine weather, there is a warning about UV levels which will be high, although the pollen forecast is medium.
