Sussex travel news

There is severe disruption on one of the county’s busiest roads this morning (Saturday, September 5).

The A27 is currently closed westbound between the Shoreham flyover and Lancing Manor roundabout to allow for emergency repairs.

However there is good news for motorists travelling elsewhere in Sussex, with no disruption to report at this time.

Newhaven ferry services are running to time and there are currently no disruptions to services at Gatwick Airport.

But engineering works are causing some problems for those travelling into London by train this morning.

Work on the line between New Cross Gate and East Croydon/West Croydon will see line closures and diversions throughout the weekend.
