A fun free day out for all the family is the promise from St Leonards Festival tomorrow.
Live drumming and circus skills will be on offer in Warrior Square Gardens and Kings Road between 12-7.30pm with surely something for everyone in an event as diverse and entertaining as St Leonards itself.
On the main stage compere Dave Francis will keep the event running smoothly, and staring at 12.15pm Delegation de Mayotte & Amml will display their unique style of dancing from the tiny islands of Mayotte, at 12.30pm and 4pm Etta Ermini Dance Company present Roadworks - a face-off between a BMXer and a street dancer.
The live drumming starts at 2.30pm on the seafront then a parade and drum-off. There will be live jive and moves from the Swing Street Band and the Cinque Ports Lindy Hoppers with vintage cars and bikes, to add to the party atmosphere a street market, and from 2.30pm circus skills, clowning and aerial performance at the pop-up circus in Kings Road.
At 4pm a tribute to Jeremy Birch from deputy mayoress Judy Rogers will include a performance by The Wobblies, and headline act Blair will play from 6.30pm.
