The charity which will benefit from the sale of the calendars is You Raise Me Up. This great cause offers financial and emotional support to families that have lost a young adult between the ages of 16 and 25.

Budding photographers were asked to enter their images that best depicted the theme of ‘having fun in Sussex’. The competition received over 70 entries making the judging process tough.

However, 13 photos have been chosen and these are being made into 2017 calendars for You Raise Me Up to sell. The calendar, priced £5, is available to purchase at You Raise Me Up’s coffee shop, 3 Millfields, Polegate, Eastbourne, BN26 6AS, through their Facebook page @ You Raise Me Up, at Eastbourne Rugby Club on Park Avenue, BN22 9QN and at the Polegate Christmas Fair on December 3 Steve Rowland, Managing Director at Evonprint, commented: “We hope to raise a substantial sum for You Raise Me Up.”
