STUDENTS from the University of Brighton’s Hastings campus celebrated their graduation at a ceremony.

The 200 graduates achieved degrees across a variety of subjects including Broadcast Media, Internet Computing and Applied Social Science.

The Hastings Graduation Celebration, held at Azur, Marina Pavilion, was created to celebrate in particular the achievements of its local graduates, who were born, studied and still live in the area.

Margaret Wallis, campus director, said: “The students have worked hard to fulfil their dreams and we wish them every success. We look forward to seeing their name in lights and in years to come, returning to let us applaud them for their achievements.”

The university is continuing to grow all the time with a second campus due to open in Priory Square this autumn.
