Around 700 people packed onto the Stade Open Space to watch Summer Street Sports.
It was the third year running that Hastings Predators Floorball Club have organised the event.
A spokesperson for Hastings Predators said: “The event was a brilliant success and was only possible with the support of The Foreshore Trust and Community Games as well as the Stade Hall.
Around 700 people attended the day which included all sorts of events and activities with the aim of showcasing the range of exciting and alternative sports and activities on offer in and around Hastings.
“Visitors could watch a fiercely contended 3v3 Floorball tournament, with Hastings team ‘Jager Bomb’ the eventual champions keeping the trophy at home for another year running.
Trojan Training Systems hosted Trojan’s Mightiest Warrior competition, a great display of strength that was open to all sorts of entrants.
Spectators were also able to watch the fantastic Battle of Hastings Bar Fit competition hosted by Calisthenics UK which saw street workout competitors from around the UK competing for podium places.
“There were opportunities to try out Floorball to score against one of the Hastings team goalies, join in with a Zumba display, sample some of the healthy samples from Eat In catering, play a game of Ping Pong with Pongathon and have a game of Basketball with South Coast Tigers.
“Special mention must be made of Tony Pratt who completed an incredible 10,000 press ups with contributions from hundreds of supporters in his fundraising efforts for Pilgrims Hospice in Kent.
Organisers Kaspars and Lauren would like to extend their thanks to everybody who got involved with the event in any way - it would not have been such a success without the enthusiasm and support of clubs, players and supporters from around the town.”
