Storm changes mobile library times and Battle Abbey opening time
East Sussex County Council has announced the mobile library in Bexhill will be out of service this morning (Mon 28) due to high winds and roads being inaccessible due to falling branches.
The service is expected to resume this afternoon with the first stop of the day at The Maltings, in Peasmarsh at 1.45pm
Customers of affected stops are being contacted and their items are being renewed. Stops affected are Pelwood Road and the Castle public house, in Camber, Poppyfields, in Playden and Iden Village Hall.
Meanwhile Battle Abbey won’t open until midday, due to staff transport difficulties.
