St Leonards pair charged in drink-drive crackdown

Two men from St Leonards have been charged with offences as part of Sussex Police’s summer drink and drug-drive campaign.

Vilis Fedorenko, 47, was arrested in Stonehouse Drive at 1.15am on June 28.

Fedorenko, of Stockleigh Road, has now been charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

He has been released on bail to appear at Hastings Magistrates’ Court on July 29.

Meanwhile Slavomir Patrovsky, 27, was arrested in Bohemia Road 11.25pm on June 26 following a tip off from a member of the public.

Patrovsky, of De Cham Avenue, has now been charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis and driving without a licence.

He was also released on bail to appear at Hastings Magistrates’ Court on July 29.

A total of 114 people have been charged with offences so far as part of the force’s Operation Dragonfly June crackdown on drink and drug-drivers.

People in Sussex can text officers on 65999 with the details of people they suspect of drink or drug driving or visit www.operationcrackdown.co.uk.
