A mother from St Leonards is featuring in an online weight loss documentary presented by Denise Van Outen.
Gemma Warmington is taking part in a six-week documentary called Losing Weight: My Journey
The show follows four women’s weight loss journeys aided by a clinically-approved tablet.
XLS-MEDICAL Max Strength helps users reach their weight loss goals even faster by reducing calorie intake from carbohydrates, fat and even sugar.
The 40-year-old mum of two has lost one stone and seven pounds so far through ditching the junk food, incorporating a healthy diet and exercise into her daily routine and taking the weight loss aid.
Weekends are often filled with activities, concerts and sporting events with friends and family, and Gemma has had to work hard at choosing healthy options.
“Women’s Final Day at Wimbledon was a real struggle but I allowed myself some strawberries and cream as a treat,” she said.
“Thankfully the XLS tablets allow for some flex in my diet which I really appreciate and is something that other diets haven’t allowed me.”
A recent health scare gave Gemma the wake-up call she needed to lose the weight she had been battling with for years.
Now 12 weeks into her weight loss journey, Gemma is thrilled with her new lease of energy and enjoys sharing her healthy recipes with close friends.
“I’ve had friends round for healthy dinner parties so we’re all benefiting from my new improved lifestyle,” she said.
The documentary is produced by the directors of One Born Every Minute, and will follow the women over 12 weeks as they bear all to the nation, sharing the highs and lows, the good times and the tough.
Host and advocate of healthy living Denise Van Outen said: “The ladies have each been on the most incredible journeys in such a short space of time and it’s not been easy.
“There have been work trips, holidays, 40th Birthday celebrations and dinner parties along the way to tackle.
“I hope this series will inspire the nation and motivate others to make simple changes for a healthier life.”
XLS-MEDICAL Max Strength contains Clavitanol™, a patented organic plant based complex, which reduces the break down and absorption of dietary carbohydrates, sugar and fat.
The tablet also stabilises blood glucose and insulin levels, which helps in curbing food cravings by blood glucose management.
Dietician Jodie Relf said: “Each of the women experienced weight loss within the first week of taking XLS-MEDICAL Max Strength and found it so simple to incorporate into their busy lives.
“They also benefited from less food cravings and felt fuller for longer which also helped with their weight management.
“Seeing the ladies figures change over just a twelve week period has been amazing, they’ve all come up with their own diet tips which will be shared throughout the series.”
Losing Weight: My Journey will be available each Thursday from 9am.
