A 53-year-old man has become the latest person to be charged with an offence as part of Sussex Police’s summer crackdown on drink and drug-driving.
Stephen Hall was arrested at 1.40pm on June 12 on the seafront in St Leonards after officers saw him using his mobile phone while driving.
Hall, of Stockleigh Road, St Leonards, has now been charged with drug-driving, driving without insurance, driving without a licence and using a mobile phone at the wheel.
He was released on bail to appear at Hastings Magistrates’ Court on September 2.
A total of 117 people have so far been charged with offences as part of the June 2015 Operation Dragonfly campaign.
