An opticians in Hastings has helped pupils stay safe at night by donating high visibility vests to a local scouts group.
Specsavers, located in Priory Meadow Shopping Centre, gave high visibility vests to the 4th Hastings Scout Group to promote safety at night.
Rob Lofting, Specsavers Hastings store director, said: “We want to make sure that children are safe and visible at night. Since the nights have got darker, we hope our donation will help keep parents’ minds at ease when they’re escorting their children to and from school.”
Specsavers is a partnership of almost 2,000 locally-run businesses throughout the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Spain, Australia and New Zealand.
