The father of a disabled boy is appealing for information about a special needs trike which was stolen from the family’s car outside their home in Salisbury Road, St Leonards, last night (September 11).

Richard Smith is asking the public to look out for the TMX red in colour trike, which belongs to his son Joshua Smith, after it was taken from the back of the family’s Ford Galaxy.

Richard said: “Joshua will be devastated when he finds out later. It is a TMX red in colour trike which splits into two for easy transport and it took us a year of looking for funds to get the trike. We are all very upset. How can they take from a car in a disabled bay that has obvious special needs equipment in it?”
