Jack burst onto the streets with the Bogies this morning and the procession made its way through the Old Town before heading up to the West Hill for the festivities, including on stage performances from dancers, drummers and musicians.

At 3.30pm the Bogies will parade the Jack down to the main stage where he will be symbolically slain and the spirit of summer released for another year.
